Subsidiary Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Subsidiary Controller will oversee finance and accounting operations for multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations and compliance with statutory requirements. Reporting dual‑line to the Regional Finance Controller and the Shared Service Director, the role requires close collaboration with third‑party vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close activities, including posting pre‑payments, accruals, re‑classifications and payroll entries.
• Prepare and maintain balance‑sheet account reconciliations and inter‑company accounting.
• Perform P/L analysis and support the preparation of financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and order‑to‑cash cycles, ensuring timely processing.
• Coordinate with shared services/GIC and third‑party vendors on statutory reporting.
• Support stakeholder management across multiple entities and regions.

Required profile

• Graduate in Commerce with a full‑time Master’s degree in Finance & Accounts, ICWA or CA.
• Minimum 14 years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 2 years as a finance controller.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to interpret and apply standards.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle individual contributor responsibilities.
