Senior Financial Operations Consultant

About the role

Connor Group is seeking a Senior Financial Operations professional to join its team across major Indian locations. The role focuses on delivering finance and accounting projects, solving complex reporting issues, and driving process optimization for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned tasks and project responsibilities to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Participate in client interactions, including interviews, process walkthroughs, documentation, and presentations.
• Communicate project status, identify potential issues and risks, and provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with project team members to deliver best‑in‑class client support and deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of core finance processes such as close, procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash, and equity.
• Ability to document finance and operational processes using narratives or flowcharts.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of consulting, auditing, or industry experience; CPA or MBA preferred.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher and a willingness to travel.
