Financial Crime Manager

About the role

ANZ Banking Group Limited is seeking a Financial Crime Manager to support its US and UK operations. Based in Bengaluru, you will work afternoon and night shifts to provide timely compliance assistance to the New York and London teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Financial Crime Europe & America and the UK MLRO in managing AML, CTF, sanctions, fraud and anti‑bribery & corruption obligations.
• Provide guidance to UK and US business units on the implementation of ANZ’s AML/CTF, sanctions, ABAC and fraud policies.
• Act as the primary KYC contact point, advising middle‑office functions on KYC processes and AML rule application.
• Support investigations, regulatory reporting, training development and preparation for regulatory inspections.
• Integrate regulatory compliance into day‑to‑day operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement of AML and sanctions controls.

Required profile

• Experience advising on financial crime risk, AML/CTF, sanctions and fraud compliance.
• Ability to work afternoon and night shifts to align with New York and London time zones.
• Strong communication skills to disseminate policy updates and provide subject‑matter expertise across business units.
