Senior Manager – Government Advertising Sales (DGM)

About the role

Paytm Ads is looking for a Senior Manager/DGM to lead Government Advertising Sales across FMCG, Consumer, Internet and Gaming verticals. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process and drive revenue growth for the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert in Paytm Ads solutions for businesses of all sizes and adapt recommendations quickly to suit varying client needs.
• Own end‑to‑end key business metrics like ads revenue, educate and lead strategic conversations with clients and navigate complex relationships.
• Represent Paytm Ads in the industry and present advertising solutions to CXOs, media heads, brand managers and agency partners of large brands.
• Build a strong pipeline of media briefs and respond with customized pitches and proposals aligned with the client’s business and marketing objectives.
• Work closely with the campaign delivery and optimization team to monitor and deliver expected results to the advertiser.
• Lead initiatives requiring cross‑team collaboration to build innovative advertising solutions for key advertisers.
• Provide constant feedback to the product team to improve advertising performance and customer experience.

Required profile

• Relevant years of experience in advertising sales managing large clients (digital preferred) for the vertical lead, with experience as an account manager.
• Experience in handling Government clients (must).
• Proven experience in managing programs, categories or business verticals.
• Strong stakeholder management experience; ability to work cross‑functionally with diverse teams.
• Ability to deep‑dive into problems with strong analytical and presentation skills.
• High bias for action and ability to thrive in ambiguous settings, exercising sound judgment and flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
