Senior France Payroll Manager – EMEA (Hyderabad)

About the role

Deloitte Tax Services India is seeking an experienced professional to lead France payroll services for its EMEA clients from Hyderabad. The role involves managing the full payroll lifecycle, ensuring compliance with French legislation, and supporting global tax outsourcing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, including preparation, validation, reconciliation and client sign‑off.
• Interpret French payroll legislation and apply statutory requirements, manual calculations and payroll adjustments.
• Support expatriate and shadow payroll calculations.
• Coordinate payroll transitions, system setup, data validation, parallel testing and go‑live activities.
• Review payroll outputs, investigate variances and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with delivery centres, HR, finance, payroll vendors and client teams to ensure timely processing.
• Prepare internal and client status reports covering progress, risks and issues.
• Mentor, coach and manage a payroll team while contributing individually to delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, process documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Significant experience in French payroll administration and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet SLAs.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team leadership.
