About the role
The Sales Executive will act as the key liaison between PepsiCo and its distributors, driving market growth through effective planning, coaching, and execution of joint business plans. You will support distributors in expanding their footprint, improving product availability, and enhancing sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve secondary monthly sales targets and gross revenue growth.
- Plan efficient sales routes to boost productivity and increase net distribution.
- Expand weighted distribution by increasing SKU count in existing outlets.
- Ensure stock availability and rack execution according to planograms.
- Build strong relationships with customers to maximize satisfaction.
- Provide one‑on‑one training for PSRs, set monthly targets, and coach on market execution.
- Monitor salesperson performance through regular sales reports and motivate with incentives.
- Manage distributor appointments, retirements, and health (ROI) in line with joint business plans.
- Recruit and retain sales representatives, enforce FIFO and stacking norms, and ensure timely order delivery.
- Maintain food compliance and develop distributor sales competencies.
Required profile
- MBA preferred.
- Experience in fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) preferred.
