Cadet Modeller – Roads & Highways/Rail

About the role

The Cadet Modeller will support the Roads & Highways and Rail teams in creating accurate civil infrastructure models. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to develop expertise in CADD and the Autodesk suite while contributing to large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in developing 2D/3D models for roads, highways and rail projects.
• Produce and update design drawings using Autodesk software.
• Interpret and implement instructions and design specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure model consistency.
• Adapt models to evolving project requirements and feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong willingness to learn civil infrastructure and CADD technologies.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a diverse environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency or willingness to learn CADD technologies.
• Familiarity with Autodesk suite of products (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
