Structure Engineer – GDC

About the role

We are looking for a Structure Engineer to join the Global Design Center (GDC) in Bengaluru. The role involves delivering complete structural design packages, from modelling and calculations to documentation, ensuring compliance with codes and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design of assigned reinforced concrete and steel elements, including modelling assumptions, load paths and design checks.
• Prepare clear calculation packages and design notes for internal review and downstream use.
• Maintain design records in line with company QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with BIM/CAD teams to resolve clashes, constructability issues and ensure drawings match calculations.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to address design constraints and keep the programme on track.
• Review and check outputs of junior engineers, providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by developing reusable templates, standard details and lessons learned.

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering (required); ME/MTech in Structures (preferred).
• 5‑10 years of experience in structural analysis and design delivery.
• Experience on international projects (e.g., UK, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE and STAAD.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination practices and tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of RAM Concept (advantage).
