Formwork Supervisor – Construction Site

About the role

The Formwork Supervisor will lead work‑men gangs on construction sites, ensuring that all formwork activities are carried out safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage work‑men gangs as directed by the site formwork in‑charge.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings before any formwork work begins.
• Interpret formwork scheme drawings and ensure they are implemented precisely.
• Coordinate with carpentry workshops for shuttering preparation and with subcontractors for material delivery.
• Monitor progress against BOQs, maintain material availability, and report any deviations.
• Enforce quality, safety, and housekeeping standards across all site areas.
• Implement new productivity or cost‑saving ideas introduced by headquarters or the cluster.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update the site formwork in‑charge.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising formwork operations on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, safety regulations, and BOQ management.
• Ability to read and apply formwork scheme drawings accurately.
• Excellent coordination skills with multiple work‑men gangs and subcontractors.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and site housekeeping.
