About the role
Coats, a global leader in thread manufacturing and performance materials, is seeking a Business Development Executive for its Delhi/NCR operations. The role focuses on expanding market presence, driving sales, and strengthening customer relationships across the apparel and textile sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales and collection targets for the assigned territory.
- Identify market potential, cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across direct and indirect accounts.
- Collaborate with global and domestic account teams to grow business.
- Monitor overdue payments, optimise credit limits, and ensure timely collections.
- Provide regular market updates and reports to the branch manager.
- Promote digital adoption among customers and the sales force.
- Conduct technical seminars and customer engagements to reinforce the Coats brand.
- Manage key customer relationships and forecast sales aligned with market intelligence.
Required profile
- Graduate with proven sales experience.
- Strong communication and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel 15‑20 days per month for market visits.
