About the role
Apna is looking for an energetic Business Development Executive to join its Growth and Business team. This entry‑level position focuses on acquiring small‑ and medium‑business (SMB) customers for Apna’s hiring solutions, driving cold‑calling outreach, and closing long‑term deals on the ground.
Key responsibilities
- Visit 7‑9 SMB clients daily to pitch Apna’s recruitment products.
- Generate and share prospect data with the manager.
- Handle objections related to product features, competition, pricing, and expectations.
- Sell recruitment solutions by assessing each client’s hiring needs.
- Onboard new clients and guide them to post their first job on the platform.
- Create market references and drive organic revenue growth.
- Represent the Apna brand and communicate its value proposition to interested prospects.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets while supporting short‑ and long‑term growth goals.
- Increase brand visibility by distributing collaterals and building references.
Required profile
- Highly motivated hustler with street‑smart negotiation abilities.
- Proven lead‑generation skills through cold calling and face‑to‑face outreach.
- Willingness to travel extensively; a valid driving licence and bike are mandatory.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
