Associate Lead – Business Development (Banking & Fintech)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Lead – Business Development to drive growth through strategic partnerships in the banking and fintech ecosystem. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify new opportunities, manage relationships with banks and fintech partners, and support end‑to‑end deal execution in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across banking and fintech sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, fintech partners, and clients.
• Support partnership expansion and collaboration initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end deal execution, including discussions, follow‑ups, and documentation.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and operations teams for smooth onboarding and execution.
• Track deal pipelines, maintain updates, and ensure alignment across teams.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and provide inputs for go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development within banking, fintech, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of the banking and digital financial ecosystem.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and support deal execution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, startup or product‑driven environments.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise or B2B partnerships (advantageous).
• Analytical mindset to derive insights from market trends.
