Wine Waiter/Waitress – F&B Associate

About the role

The Wine Waiter/Waitress (F&B Associate) will deliver an excellent guest experience by providing professional wine service, recommendations and up‑selling within Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru. The role supports departmental targets while upholding Hilton’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide current, professional knowledge of wines to guests.
• Recommend and up‑sell wines to complement dishes.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in compliance with licensing regulations.
• Ensure accurate billing and achieve departmental sales targets.
• Maintain a professional, hospitality‑focused demeanor.
• Comply with hotel security, fire, health and safety regulations.
• Attend training sessions provided by the hotel.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in hotel, leisure or retail environments.
• Good grooming standards and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience as a wine waiter/waitress is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
