Welder III

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced Welder III to join its fabrication team. You will be responsible for producing and repairing high‑quality metal components that meet strict industry standards for sectors such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and oil & gas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, SMAW or other required processes.
• Work with carbon steel, alloy steel (P91/F91) and stainless steel.
• Execute welds in critical positions, including 6G and 2G, with high precision.
• Interpret WPS/PQR documents, technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Prepare fit‑up and edge preparation, set up equipment and materials.
• Inspect welded joints for compliance and document results.
• Carry out finishing tasks such as grinding, cutting and polishing.
• Maintain welding tools and follow all safety protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, materials and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet production targets.
