VP Product Owner - BUK TESCO Bank Mobile IN

About the role

Barclays is hiring a VP Product Owner for its BUK TESCO Bank Mobile IN product in Bengaluru, India, within the Customer Digital and Data business area. The role oversees the product lifecycle, defines the product vision and ensures delivery and ongoing performance, acting as the main link between stakeholders and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product vision and communicate it clearly to delivery teams
• Create and refine user stories with acceptance criteria, and write and prioritise the product backlog
• Take part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Gather customer feedback and use market research and KPIs to monitor product performance and adjust the roadmap
• Manage ongoing readiness and run activities of live products, including monitoring, governance and approvals
• Manage risk and controls, including escalation of risks, and advise stakeholders and senior management
• Plan resources, budgets and policies, and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Permanent contract, based in the Bengaluru office
• Experience delivering API and integration changes across the full lifecycle with engineering, architecture and third parties
• Some highly valued skills: stakeholder engagement, risk and regulatory requirements, and excellent communication and presentation skills
