Visual Design Associate, Books Design

About the role

The Visual Design Associate supports the production of audiobook assets by transforming original book cover artwork into high‑quality, web‑ready images. Working closely with a coordinator and global stakeholders, you will ensure timely delivery of polished visuals that align with brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, resize, and retouch book cover artwork for audiobook product images.
• Create multi‑platform ad campaigns using Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI‑powered generative tools.
• Leverage AI design agents and automation (e.g., Figma AI plugins, generative fill, text‑to‑image workflows) to accelerate production.
• Collaborate with design leadership, product management, and the Amazon design community to maintain brand consistency.
• Follow editing SOPs, spot errors, and manage multiple urgent requests.
• Provide status updates and escalations to global stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, self‑directed, and able to thrive under deadline pressure.
• Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for proportion, scale, hierarchy, alignment, and contrast.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, professional demeanor.
• Online portfolio of visual design work is required.
