US Talent Sourcer – Contract Role

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a proactive US Talent Sourcer on a contract basis to support hiring initiatives across the United States. The role is based in Bangalore and operates on US time zones, focusing on building pipelines, engaging candidates, and managing contractor‑to‑full‑time conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking platforms, internal databases, referrals and other channels.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, including market mapping and competitor analysis.
• Engage candidates, screen profiles against job requirements and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
• Identify high‑performing contractors, track their performance, and facilitate conversion to full‑time roles.
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers and HR Business Partners, providing sourcing updates, talent market insights and supporting diversity hiring initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 4+ years of sourcing experience supporting US recruitment, preferably for technical or engineering roles.
• Ability to work in US time zones and communicate effectively in English.
