Territory Sales Officer

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Territory Sales Officer to drive growth in the Odisha market. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets through direct selling, managing distributor networks, and providing market insights to the branch office.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by personal selling and expanding distribution.
• Manage front‑end and back‑end distributor infrastructure.
• Analyse MIS reports to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Negotiate with distributors and coach their teams to increase business.
• Build and leverage trade relationships to strengthen market position.
• Provide regular market feedback and reports to the branch office.
• Monitor distributor performance and take corrective actions.

Required profile

• Full‑time graduation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in channel sales.
• Good communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS‑Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to perform ROI calculations.
• Experience with RS distribution management.
• Knowledge of RS appointment and sales planning.
• Experience in conducting promotional activities and execution.
