Technical Services Powerplant Engineer

About the role

The Technical Services Powerplant Engineer will join Airbus India’s Powerplant and Propulsion team in New Delhi, providing engineering support for aircraft engines and auxiliary power units (APUs). The role focuses on managing engine and APU shop visits, replacements, and delivering reliable performance data to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engine and APU induction, replacement, and shop‑visit work packages.
• Prepare and deliver reports on powerplant status, oil consumption, SMR & DICA monitoring.
• Provide immediate, mid‑term, and long‑term engineering support for powerplant and APU systems.
• Evaluate technical publications and manage their implementation.
• Conduct reliability analysis and monitoring of components and systems.
• Support aircraft on‑time performance, AOG troubleshooting, and long‑term reliability studies.
• Maintain operational KPIs and oversee de‑lease activities.
• Develop digital tools to improve engineering deliverables and ensure high customer focus.

Required profile

• Professional experience in aircraft engine or APU engineering.
• Strong understanding of powerplant systems, maintenance processes, and reliability concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal Airbus functions and external customers.
• Commitment to compliance, integrity, and high‑quality deliverables.
