Maintenance Engineer – Printing Equipment

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of printing and auxiliary equipment on the production floor of Syndicate Labels in New Delhi. Working full‑time on‑site, you will support continuous production by minimizing equipment downtime through effective maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of printing machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Execute maintenance and repair tasks, including component replacement.
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to align with manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment performance and workplace safety.

Required profile

• Strong background in equipment maintenance and maintenance engineering for industrial or printing machinery.
• Practical experience in mechanical troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical diagnostics and wiring checks, with ability to work with qualified electricians.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• Experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical manuals and equipment drawings and maintain clear documentation.
• Commitment to safety, problem‑solving attitude and ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs.
