Application Engineer – Motion Control Systems

About the role

The role involves managing customer accounts on technical aspects, providing technical support to sales, and handling end‑to‑end techno‑commercial activities for motion control systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, vendors and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales in generating RFQs, qualify opportunities and prepare techno‑commercial proposals (schematics, BOM, cost sheets).
• Maintain post‑order technical documentation, obtain customer approvals and liaise with customers, BU, and vendors.
• Participate with service teams in commissioning, lifecycle management and retrofitting of products.
• Develop prototypes, conduct proof‑of‑concepts and create project documentation including loss analysis and lessons learned.
• Drive continuous improvement, value engineering and promote future technologies and solutions.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (minimum 4‑6 years of experience).
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic concepts, PLC programming (ladder and Structured Text) and familiarity with servo drives, CNC and motion controllers.
• Exposure to automotive, printing or packaging industry equipment is advantageous.
