Team Member (Production Operator)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Team Member (Production Operator) to join our manufacturing team at Continental Surface Solutions India. The role involves operating and supervising production machines to ensure timely and high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in adjusting, operating and supervising machines according to factory data collection (FDC or TSOP) and work instructions.
• Set up machines following the defined set‑up plan.
• Perform quality controls as per TSOP; report any deviations to the superior.
• Monitor the technical state and flawless function of equipment, taking corrective actions when errors occur.
• Check safety installations and separate material with failures.
• Execute inspection plans, record manufacturing and testing documentation accurately.
• Conduct optical defect inspections, mark defect positions and separate defective products.
• Manage resources, auxiliary, residual and operating materials, ensuring timely supply of tools and disposals.
• Comply with procedures defined in the function manual and IMS.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Plastic engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the automotive or chemical industry.
• Familiarity with Lean Production, 5S and PDCA methodologies.
• Knowledge of polymer processing is a plus.
