Team Lead – Urban Infrastructure

About the role

KPMG’s Government & Public Services Advisory practice is seeking a Team Lead for Urban Infrastructure in Haridwar. The role will drive large‑scale urban infrastructure and public‑sector development projects, providing strategic oversight, governance and quality assurance while acting as the primary liaison with government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team and serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic direction for planning, implementation, monitoring and delivery of urban infrastructure projects.
• Ensure project milestones, timelines, quality standards and contractual obligations are met.
• Drive project governance, risk mitigation and performance improvement for government departments.
• Coordinate with senior officials, urban local bodies, development authorities, contractors and consultants.
• Oversee project design review, implementation monitoring, quality assurance and compliance with statutory, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams, foster collaboration and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale urban infrastructure projects for government or public‑sector clients.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and high‑level government interactions.
• Strong leadership, communication and advisory skills.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
