Team Lead – Direct Marketing

About the role

The Team Lead – Direct Marketing will drive business growth for the assigned region, developing and executing strategic plans while leading a high‑performing sales team. This position focuses on expanding market reach, improving profitability, and building brand awareness in Ghatkopar and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual business plans and strategies for the region.
• Identify market opportunities through intelligence gathering and penetrate under‑developed markets to increase distribution and profitability.
• Recruit, train and coach sales advisors, ensuring the team has the capacity to meet topline targets.
• Drive sales and profitability targets, manage cost control, and monitor quality and persistency of business.
• Conduct daily huddles, periodic reviews, and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Design and manage sales collaterals and ensure consistent communication across the team.
• Organise training programs for skill enhancement and professional development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in direct marketing or sales leadership within a regional context.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitor offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent analytical skills to review plans, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
