Team Lead – Cash & Position Reconciliation

About the role

The Team Lead will oversee end‑to‑end cash and position reconciliation for syndicated and non‑syndicated loan portfolios, with a particular focus on CLO and CDO structures. The role combines operational oversight, issue escalation and team leadership to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full cash and position reconciliation process for loan portfolios, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Review and guide the team’s investigations of cash breaks, discrepancies and exceptions, providing timely resolutions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for Agent Banks, clients and internal stakeholders on complex issues.
• Utilise platforms such as Solvas, Global Cash Manager (GCM) and GRX to oversee processing and reconciliation.
• Maintain governance over documentation, investigation records and audit‑ready controls.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, operational and internal policy requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and performance management for a team of 5+ FTEs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Any university graduation.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year as a Team Leader managing 5 or more staff.
• Experience conducting performance reviews, coaching, and annual appraisals.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Solvas.
• Proficiency with Global Cash Manager (GCM).
• Proficiency with GRX.
