Tax Services Senior Analyst – Fiduciary/Trust

About the role

EY is seeking a Tax Services Senior Analyst to join its Fiduciary/Trust Tax Services practice. You will work with a diverse team of tax professionals, providing high‑quality tax research, advice, and compliance services to banks, wealth‑management firms, trust companies, and law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tax research and draft written tax advice for complex fiduciary structures.
• Prepare tax information statements and tax returns, including Forms 1041 and state income tax returns for trusts and estates.
• Review wills and trust documents to determine reporting requirements and beneficiary allocations.
• Analyze tax treatment of transactions and ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Support managers and senior staff with return reconciliation, e‑filing, and data validation in the tax system.
• Collaborate with client tax liaisons, trust administration teams, and trust officers to gather required information.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of fiduciary and trust tax regulations.
• Experience preparing complex trust and estate tax returns.
• Ability to interpret legal documents and identify tax implications.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
