Sr. Associate II Accounting & Reporting

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate II to lead end‑to‑end Record to Report activities for its India entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and local standards, and adherence to Alcon accounting policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Recognize revenue in line with IFRS and Alcon accounting manuals, and handle equipment financing reporting.
• Prepare financial schedules, management reports and support group consolidation processes.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, FA, Intercompany, BPA, Tax and Local Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Drive process standardisation, continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of RTR experience in a shared services or multinational environment, preferably supporting India entities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Indian accounting standards and Alcon policies.
• Proven ability to work with internal and external auditors and manage compliance requirements.
