Tax Manager, Foreign Reporting and Compliance - CapEx

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Tax Manager (L6) to join its Direct Tax Reporting team in Hyderabad. The role supports the Worldwide CapEx team by ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance for capital expenditures across multiple foreign jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze CapEx‑related transactions such as operating and capital leases, depreciation of fixed assets, amortization of intangibles, and cost recovery of digital content.
• Calculate tax adjustments for various foreign jurisdictions and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with the Foreign CapEx team to deliver tax impact data for reporting and planning needs.
• Structure and analyze large data sets to produce actionable tax information.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in a multi‑national corporate tax department.
