Support Engineer (Run Operator) – AI & Smart Automation

About the role

The Support Engineer (Run Operator) joins the AI & Smart Automation squad to monitor RPA production activities, analyse incidents and ensure continuous operation of Blue Prism robots. The role focuses on rapid issue resolution, root‑cause analysis and coordination with development teams while maintaining strong communication with business users.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews) and manage tickets through Kanban.
• Monitor RPA platforms, ensure stability and uptime, and raise alerts for any blocking points.
• Analyse production issues, identify root causes and coordinate corrective actions with the development team.
• Own the delivery of assigned Jira tickets, providing daily support and platform behaviour oversight.
• Collaborate with the tech lead and guild members to optimise RPA performance and suggest enhancements.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in support/maintenance of RPA solutions, preferably with Blue Prism.
• Senior‑to‑expert level autonomy, proactive attitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to work with business users.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Motivation to work in a multi‑technology squad and contribute to continuous improvement.
