Supervisor, Field Service

About the role

Vertiv is seeking a Supervisor, Field Service to lead the installation, commissioning, and servicing of critical HVAC systems for data centers and industrial environments. The role combines hands‑on technical work with safety leadership and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission HVAC equipment such as CRV, CRAC, PAC, AHU, and chillers.
• Perform pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, nitrogen flushing and ensure proper system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cooling, airflow, and control issues on site.
• Conduct performance testing, verify compliance with standards, and prepare service, commissioning and checklist reports.
• Enforce site safety, PPE use, and safe lifting/shifting practices using cranes, forklifts and rigging tools.
• Verify lifting equipment capacity, implement LOTO and grounding procedures, and prevent contamination.

Required profile

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, HVAC or Thermal Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in HVAC service, installation or project execution.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and the refrigeration cycle.
• Proven experience in commissioning, troubleshooting and adhering to installation standards.
• Good reporting and communication skills.
