Nut Former Operator

About the role

The Nut Former Operator will work full‑time on‑site in the Greater Kolkata Area, operating nut‑forming machines that produce fasteners for a range of infrastructure projects. You will ensure that production runs safely, efficiently, and meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, start, and monitor nut‑forming machines according to production specifications.
• Adjust machine settings and perform routine inspections to maintain product dimensions and surface quality.
• Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues, performing basic maintenance as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all safety and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, quality‑control teams, and maintenance staff to achieve production targets.

Required profile

• Experience operating nut formers or similar cold‑heading/fastener machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
• Knowledge of shop‑floor safety practices, basic machine maintenance, and quality‑control procedures.
• Prior experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably fasteners or metal components.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle materials safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Willingness to work shifts and follow company policies.
