Steward / Captain – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Steward or Captain to join our team at La Panthera, a modern European restaurant in Mumbai. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, seat and welcome guests, presenting menus and answering food‑ and beverage‑related queries.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Maintain table settings, monitor guest needs, and handle special requests.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and uphold service standards throughout the shift.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional language abilities are a plus.
• Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel or similar hospitality setting is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Professional appearance, attention to detail and a proactive, guest‑centric attitude.
