Assistant Shift Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

You will help run the MIYO floor, lead the team and ensure every shift runs smoothly, covering both operations and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team and manage day‑to‑day shift operations.
• Manage rosters, cash, inventory, dispatches and daily operational checks.
• Ensure counter, kitchen, cleaning and product quality standards are maintained.
• Conduct daily briefings, team catch‑ups, training and performance feedback.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints with ownership.
• Keep the team on track with tasks, timelines and store standards.
• Monitor FEFO, stock levels, refilling, R&M and other operational requirements.
• Step in proactively wherever needed to keep the store running smoothly.

Required profile

• A natural team leader who takes ownership.
• Calm, quick on your feet and good with people.
• Detail‑oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• Proactive problem‑solver comfortable handling issues on the go.
• Great at customer service and handling difficult situations.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory/team‑lead experience in a high‑volume café, QSR or restaurant.
• Bonus points if you’re a dessert lover.
