STEM PhD Qualifier Contributor – Remote

About the role

We are looking for current or former PhD students in STEM fields to contribute their qualifying exam materials to help train frontier AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible gig where you submit complete exams with solutions and get paid per accepted submission.

Key responsibilities

• Submit one complete PhD qualifying exam per submission, including all original problem statements.
• Provide fully worked‑out solutions for every problem, detailed enough for another PhD student to follow.
• Populate required metadata (university, department, exam year, structure, problem count) accurately.
• Package the exam and solutions into a single, clearly organized PDF.
• Confirm you hold the rights to share the material.

Required profile

• Current or former PhD student at an accredited doctoral programme in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or a closely related STEM discipline.
• You personally sat for the qualifying exam and retain the original materials.
• The exam is not publicly posted and you can confirm sharing rights.
• Strong written English for metadata and submission accuracy.

Required skills

• Ability to produce clear, step‑by‑step written solutions.
• Proficiency in academic writing in English.
