Staff Nurse – Patient Care Specialist

About the role

The Staff Nurse will join Apollo Hospitals to assess patients' health problems, deliver comprehensive nursing care, maintain accurate medical records, implement care plans and support junior nurses during each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication, treatments and point‑of‑care tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Conduct nursing assessments and continuously monitor patient health.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and deliver bedside care.
• Operate and care for medical equipment.
• Attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• First division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Ability to assess health problems, guide junior staff and maintain high standards of patient care.
