Sr. Data Services Developer

About the role

Driscoll's is looking for a Sr. Data Services Developer to design and deliver scalable data solutions that power enterprise analytics and reporting. The role blends hands‑on data engineering with technical leadership, ensuring pipelines, models, and curated datasets are reliable, performant, and aligned with platform standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver complex data solutions that follow existing platform architecture and enterprise standards.
• Develop and operate ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Spark, Athena, Redshift, S3, Lambda, SQS, and DMS.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex data pipeline and analytics issues, performing root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Translate business and analytics requirements into well‑structured data models, transformations, and curated datasets.
• Identify and implement performance, scalability, and cost‑optimization improvements.
• Implement data quality checks and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Embed observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting into data pipelines.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, security, architecture, integration, application, and analytics teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Professional experience of 2+ years in a similar senior technical position.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and offshore engineers.
