Microsoft Data Architect

About the role

You will help customers take control of their data and extract value by defining reference architectures and roadmaps for data management, business intelligence, and analytics. Working across multiple projects, you will design and deliver Microsoft‑based data platform solutions, both on‑premises and in Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders and information management teams to define data strategy and architecture.
• Design and implement data platforms using Microsoft Azure services and SQL Server technologies.
• Analyse existing data structures, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Create user interfaces, data workflows, and data models that meet business needs.
• Present solutions to senior management and stakeholders and guide the implementation process.
• Coach and train new users, data analysts, and data engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in data intelligence or data architecture.
• Strong communication skills in English and either Dutch or French.
• Analytical, problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric).
• Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Power BI for reporting and visualization.
