Squad Lead - Oncology

About the role

Roche is looking for a Squad Lead for Oncology in Chennai. The Squad Lead sets and executes the Outcome Based Plan and is accountable for delivering the therapy area ambition of the cluster. Oncology is a key part of Roche's India portfolio, and the role calls for strong visionary, architect, catalyst and coaching capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver value propositions to customers, including defining work packages (start and end dates, resources and investment) and choosing between commissioning work externally or executing it within the squad.
• Work closely with the Disease Area Squad and Key Account Managers under the supervision of Cluster Heads.
• Set the vision and strategic ambition for the cluster and hold overall accountability for its delivery.
• Coach project managers, peers and others so that individuals and teams grow in line with the organization's needs.
• Act as a guardian of compliance, ethics and safety, putting patients at the center of all actions.
• Co-create and execute strategic partnerships to increase the penetration of Roche innovation in corporate and other important regional accounts.
• Ensure project managers' purpose, goals, strategy, planning and execution are aligned with both the Disease Area Squad and Cluster priorities.
• Foster collaboration and expertise sharing across the organization to remove silos and duplication.

Required profile

• Preferred oncology and hematology therapy area experience.
• A track record of effective people leadership in functional and/or network teams.
• Customer experience in pharmaceutical healthcare, ideally in oncology and hematology.
