Specialist – ESG Climate & Energy Advisory

About the role

PWC is looking for a Specialist to join its ESG Climate & Energy Advisory team in Pune. You will work on sustainability strategy and transformation projects, helping clients navigate decarbonisation, circular business models and carbon market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3) and reduction strategies for clients.
• Apply decarbonisation technologies, circular business models and carbon market solutions.
• Lead net‑zero strategy initiatives across TMT, automotive, industrial and consumer product sectors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage project delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships within the sustainability ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of GHG accounting and decarbonisation concepts.
• Proven experience leading GHG reduction projects.
• Technical background in net‑zero strategy for multiple industry sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive sustainability initiatives.
