Solar Project Planning & Control Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead planning, scheduling and assurance for a portfolio of solar projects. The role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards while providing real‑time visibility to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive integrated project planning aligned with commissioning timelines and monitor daily/weekly progress.
• Ensure implementation of PMAG SOPs, internal controls, audits and documentation at site level.
• Establish real‑time tracking for physical progress and produce structured MIS reports for leadership.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks early, escalate critical issues and facilitate cross‑functional resolution.
• Coordinate across multiple projects within the cluster, aligning site teams, corporate functions and EPC/PMC stakeholders.
• Work closely with EPC/PMC partners to track planning, reporting and adherence to timelines, quality and deliverables.
• Maintain timely updates in Primavera P6 and dashboards, ensuring data consistency between site and corporate systems.
• Track inter‑dependencies, optimise resource planning and monitor projects through hand‑over to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Project Management (preferred).
• 10–14 years of experience in project planning and execution within renewable or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or clusters simultaneously.
• Exposure to solar projects and coordination with EPC/PMC teams.
