Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain critical software in a fast‑paced, quality‑focused environment. You will work on scalable algorithms and complex distributed systems, collaborating closely with Site Reliability Engineers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core software components.
• Write functional specifications and detailed design documents.
• Own key pieces of the system, ensuring high quality and reliability.
• Implement scalable algorithms and optimize performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed computing environment.
• Conduct peer reviews of specifications, designs, and code.
• Collaborate with SREs to resolve production performance problems.

Required profile

• B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with short, agile, iterative development cycles.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality results.
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast‑moving startup environment.
