Software Engineer – Full‑Stack (Python/Django & React)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join Aspire, the IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation. You will work on modern, scalable web applications that bridge academia and industry, delivering high‑quality solutions for our innovation ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Python, Django, React.js and TypeScript.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with responsive front‑end interfaces.
• Create intuitive UI components with Tailwind CSS, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Design, optimise and tune PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query performance.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate builds, tests and releases.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and other developers in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure security best practices and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional experience developing web applications.
• Hands‑on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and follow modern development standards.
