Software Engineer – Computer Vision (Python/C++)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our computer‑vision team in Bengaluru. You will work on high‑precision measurement systems that turn multi‑camera imagery into accurate dimensions, writing and optimizing production‑grade Python and occasional C++ code.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend an existing multi‑camera measurement pipeline, including calibration, triangulation and geometric computation.
• Profile NumPy‑heavy numerical code and achieve 10–100× speed‑ups while preserving correctness.
• Develop test harnesses, synthetic‑data checks and regression suites to ensure pipeline reliability.
• Package and deploy the pipeline for robust operation outside a development environment.

Required profile

• Strong fluency in Python, including data structures, dictionaries, sets and NumPy.
• Proven debugging skills and ability to hunt down difficult bugs.
• Comfort with Git, code review processes and writing maintainable code.
• Either hands‑on experience in geometric computer vision (calibration, stereo/multi‑view, 3D reconstruction, OpenCV) or a solid mathematical background in linear algebra, optimisation and statistics.
