Software Development Manager - CAD/API

About the role

The CAD Software Development Manager leads the Cimatron business unit’s CAD software team, ensuring delivery of high‑quality solutions that support the strategic product roadmap. The role blends people management, deep technical knowledge of CAD, agile delivery, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution and delivery of CAD software initiatives aligned with the product roadmap.
• Ensure deliverables are on time, within scope and meet quality standards.
• Drive predictability through planning, estimation, risk management and progress reporting.
• Partner with Product Owners and Product Management to align development activities with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership on complex CAD topics, including geometric modeling, CAD infrastructure and API development.
• Support complex customer‑reported CAD issues, coordinating investigation and resolution.
• Facilitate API‑related discussions with internal teams and external integration partners.
• Guide the team in solving engineering challenges related to data exchange and performance.

Required profile

• Strong people‑management experience in software development teams.
• Technical understanding of CAD software development and geometric modeling.
• Proven ability to manage agile delivery and cross‑functional collaboration.
