FullStack Developer

About the role

Barclays is looking for a FullStack Developer in Pune to drive the evolution of its infrastructure and deployment pipelines within Corporate Digital Banking. The role builds and manages robust, scalable and secure infrastructure so that digital solutions are delivered smoothly. The position is permanent and is based in the Pune campus.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve software that delivers business, platform and technology capabilities to customers and colleagues.
• Develop and deliver high-quality software using industry-aligned languages, frameworks and tools, keeping code scalable, maintainable and performance-optimized.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers on requirements, solution strategies and integration.
• Take part in code reviews and share knowledge with peers.
• Follow secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing.
• Stay informed of technology trends and contribute to the organization's technology communities.

Required profile

• Experience with hands-on GenAI engineering, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, evaluation, guardrails and agentic workflows.
• Cloud-native and DevSecOps delivery with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, resilience and secure engineering.
• Full-stack engineering with either Python (FastAPI/Django) or Java (Spring Boot), plus React/Angular/TypeScript, APIs, databases and automated testing.
• Other highly valued skills: AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Spring AI, LangChain4j), MLOps/LLMOps, and financial services or payments experience.
• Assessment may also cover risk and controls, change management, business acumen and strategic thinking.
