Software Development Engineer II – Full‑Stack (Seller Partner Services)

About the role

As a Software Development Engineer II you will own problems end‑to‑end and collaborate with some of the best technical minds at Amazon. The position focuses on full‑stack development, designing highly scalable and extensible applications for Seller Partner Services.

Key responsibilities

• Design flexible, scalable solutions and address complex computing challenges using data structures and algorithms.
• Handle the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Collaborate with senior SDEs and Principal Engineers to review ideas and technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in a software programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with source control management and build processes.
• Testing and operational best practices.
