About the role

Vedantu, a leading online learning platform in India, is seeking a creative and data‑driven Social Media Manager to own the social strategy for its Tuitions and One‑to‑One (OTO) verticals. You will translate business goals into engaging social campaigns that resonate with students, parents, and educators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly and quarterly social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Own the content calendar for Tuitions and OTO, planning reels, shorts, success stories, teacher‑led lessons, and parent‑focused posts.
• Write compelling captions, hooks, scripts, and briefs; coordinate with designers, video editors, and creators to produce high‑quality assets.
• Collaborate with academic, brand, product, CRM, and video production teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Schedule and publish content across relevant platforms, monitor community interactions, and maintain brand consistency.
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, views, follower growth, traffic, lead contribution) and provide weekly/monthly reports.
• Analyze insights, benchmark competitors, and experiment with new formats to drive organic growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing social media for a consumer brand, preferably in EdTech or digital‑first environments.
• Strong understanding of social trends, seasonal opportunities, and cultural moments relevant to students and parents.
