Public Relations Manager

About the role

VelivoHR is seeking a proactive Public Relations Manager to manage client relationships, develop and execute content strategies, and foster media relations across diverse sectors such as FinTech, E‑commerce, Lifestyle, Fashion, and Real Estate. The role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering impactful PR mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and deliver all content‑related deliverables outlined in the client mandate.
• Conduct research based on briefs from SMEs and function heads to create targeted, insightful content that aligns with client narratives.
• Oversee the strategic flow of content, ensuring timely and accurate communication of organisational news to appropriate audiences across multiple platforms.
• Pitch client stories to secure media coverage, boosting brand visibility and reputation in targeted publications.
• Monitor content performance, adjust strategies to optimise engagement, and stay aligned with evolving trends and client objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists across relevant media outlets.
• Develop customised, impactful content that resonates with the client’s target audience and influences media narratives.
• Track and analyse media coverage of client content, assessing effectiveness and reach.
• Generate regular reports with insights and recommendations to enhance future content strategies.
• Strategise and execute crisis communication plans and coordinate PR events.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in communications or a related field, with at least 2 years of core experience for mid‑level candidates.
• Master’s degree in Communication, Social Sciences, Research Analysis, or a related domain.
• Prior experience working on a PR or media platform handling multiple clients.
• Senior candidates must have demonstrated continuous employment of at least 2 years within the past three years.
• Strong client‑engagement personality and ability to deliver high‑quality content on schedule.
