Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

MYC, India’s first socialising app, is looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to own its social media presence and serve as the primary point of contact for its Hosts. This full‑time, on‑site role in Kochi will involve creating engaging content and building a vibrant community from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain MYC’s social media calendar across Instagram and other platforms.
• Plan, shoot, and edit reels, stories, and posts that reflect the MYC vibe.
• Manage brand and content collaborations with creators, influencers, and partners.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all Hosts, providing support before, during, and after each Moment.
• Coordinate with Hosts on content needs, promotional support, and troubleshooting.
• Track content performance and adjust strategy based on engagement metrics.
• Maintain a consistent, warm, and direct brand tone across all communications.
• Collaborate closely with the founders to translate brand direction into daily content and community actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating and managing social media content for a brand, startup, or community.
• Hands‑on experience with content shoots, video editing, and platform‑level content strategy.
• Experience managing collaborations with creators or external partners.
• Strong communication skills and comfort being the go‑to person for a network of Hosts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Immediate availability.
