Skilled Carpenter – Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our furniture manufacturing team at our Jodhpur facility. The role involves constructing, assembling and installing furniture components using both traditional and modern woodworking techniques in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and measurements to produce accurate components.
• Measure, cut, shape and join solid wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Perform framing carpentry for structural furniture parts and finish carpentry for detailed fitting, sanding and surface preparation.
• Assemble furniture pieces, install hardware and ensure final products meet quality standards.
• Inspect raw materials and finished items for defects and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop, following company safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to achieve design specifications and continuous‑improvement goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in furniture making, assembly or repair within a manufacturing or workshop setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials and work safely in a workshop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
